"Labour Weekend Meeting"

The Meeting started on time.   Thursday, 22 October 2015 with a good attendance in view of the four day holiday weekend looming!

Present:  11 Toastmasters.

Absentees:  Noel, Lawrence, Craig and Mike.

There were no guests present.

Darryl introduced  Jen.  Darryl was pleasant and encouraging.  Darryl stated the Objectives  from the Speciality Speeches Manual -  "Reading Out Loud" Speech.

Wendy introduced Helen with warmth and information.

Darryl evaluated Jen's speech.  Darryl repeated the Objectives from the "Reading out Loud" speech and made some positive comments.

 Linda evaluated Russell's Table Topic session. Linda did an excellent job of it with very good eye contact and a good pace of speaking.

The General Business was very ably conducted by Graeme in clear and precise diction.

Wendy evaluated Helen's speech in a very positive and encouraging manner with little negativity.

The duty of Toastmaster was very competently handled by Barbara.

The Timekeeper's Report was delivered  by Ian in a precise and competent manner.

The Award for Best Speaker was presented to Helen.

The Award for Best Evaluator was presented to Wendy.

The Meeting closed shortly after time.
