"SOMETHING DIFFERENT!"

Pania Club met today at a different venue due to the usual rooms being required for a two day Conference by the Blind Foundation.

Courtesy of Anna, we went to the West Shore Sea Scouts Hall and enjoyed the lovely sea views afforded us while enjoying a snack and some enlightening Table Topics.

15 members attended, which was a good turnout in view of the changed venue and also no formal program of speaking. Craig , sort of, took over running the show and we started with some amusing picture puzzles to solve, which helped to get us in the mood!
A Table Topics session followed, where one by one each member spoke about a Topic given to them by the previous speaker and  an interesting array of topics we had, together with some highly unusual and humorous answers.

Some light refreshments were provided for those that did not bring their own lunch and we wound up the meeting just prior to 1.00pm.

Next week we are back to 'normal' (not that any Pania meeting is ever 'normal'!) with two scheduled speeches, evaluations and Table Topics and back at the Blind Foundation.

Thanks to all those that made the effort to come today, hopefully we will not have to repeat the exercise too often!

See you all next week.
