50 Shades of Ice Breaker White
Weddings.
Laurel was the Toastmaster at Pania's meeting on 29th November and conducted a well-run meeting
with good linking between segments.
Anna was Julie’s evaluator, who gave her Icebreaker speech.
Anna gave Julie a warm introduction and in her evaluation she gave the speech
objectives and commended Julie for speaking openly and showing vulnerability.
Her recommendations were to clasp hands less and use more gestures and to speak
more audibly. Anna also gave a very good evaluation summary.
Trish introduced and evaluated Tamara, who spoke about being
a DIY Weekend Warrior with her speech entitled “50 Shades of White”. In her
introduction, Trish gave some background on Tamara and gave the speech
objectives. In her evaluation, Trish commended Tamara for her great use of wit,
good speech rate and gestures. She recommended that Tamara spoke a little less
softly and directed her gaze at the audience more, instead of looking up at the
ceiling sometimes.
