"TAKE THE TERROR OUT OF ONE SMALL STEP!"

Another great Pania meeting on 9th February.

David started the meeting on time and had a well organized programme, with timing lights details for each item for the General Evaluator and the Timekeeper, which enabled us to finish right on time.
.

Stephen was a first time guest and was introduced and welcomed.

Linda was the Grammarian and introduced the word of the day - Flexibility.
In her report at the end of the meeting Linda reported very well on the use of the word and it's variations.  however, perhaps because we were running short of time, didn't report on other word and grammar use during the meeting.

Darryl introduced and evaluated Stephanie, who gave her second speech in two weeks. Well done. Her speech was manual Project 3 "Get To The Point" and was titled "One Small Step For Man" and was about her Te Reo Maori learning. Darryl gave a detailed evaluation and made relevant commendations and recommendations.

Anna gave an education session that will contribute to her ATM Silver award. The session was about "How to take the fear out of a talk" and she was ably assisted by Laurel who told us how to control FEAR and Carol who told us how well prepared she was.

Laurel presented an original Table Topics session by giving each speaker four picture cards, which they had to tell a story about. The three speakers were Marc, with love, marriage, holding hands and house ownership.
Kerry, with sunsets, Thai food markets, psychedelic drugs and didn't need any help.
Noel with maps, holidays, New York and museums.

Helen evaluated Table Topics with good humour and excellent recommendations.

Mike completed the general Evaluation with excellent comments for the presenters and was ably assisted by the Timekeeper, Jen. (Ed)

Our Guest, Stephen commented in good heart on the meeting, which we do again next week when the Toastmaster is Kerry.

Awards.
Best Table Topics - Kerry
Best Speaker - Stephanie
Best Evaluator - Darryl
